As one of the fastest-growing U.S. tech startups, Veryable is looking for a Business Development Associate to help drive revenue growth, account retention, and expand Veryable's presence across Tampa. In this role, you will work directly with decision-makers and operational leaders, including plant managers, warehouse managers, production leaders, and executives across manufacturing and distribution organizations. You will be responsible for helping them understand how Veryable’s technology can solve operational bottlenecks, increase efficiency, and support long-term business growth. The Business Development Associate will report to Tampa's General Manager and work closely with a team of business development and operations professionals to drive growth. Collaboration, coaching, learning, and career development at Veryable happen in real time. For that reason, this is an in-office role based in Tampa, and remote candidates will not be considered. Responsibilities: • Promote and uphold Veryable’s values, reputation, and company culture., • Conduct presentations and on-site meetings with manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and warehouse leaders to identify operational challenges and build strategic partnerships., • Clearly communicate the value of Veryable’s platform and how businesses can use the platform to increase operational efficiency., • Develop strategic onboarding plans for new clients, establish clear success benchmarks, and help drive long-term platform adoption., • Research target accounts, build market awareness, and initiate relationships through cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings., • Leverage tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, and other resources to support the business development process., • Consistently meet or exceed business development and operational performance metrics, • Collaborate closely with the Regional Team to execute market goals, deliver value to clients, and expand Veryable’s footprint. Required Qualifications: • Passionate about Veryable’s platform, our vision, and mission., • Eager to learn, grow professionally, and bring a competitive mindset every day., • Coachable and willing to receive feedback, apply it quickly, and continue improving., • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a demonstrated track record of commitment, discipline, or mastery in a previous pursuit such as athletics, music, academics, work, or another competitive environment., • Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex ideas, tell a compelling story, and drive results through clear and direct communication., • Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to break down complex problems, use data to identify insights, and communicate recommendations., • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint., • Able to work in the Tampa office every day and conduct regular in-person visits with local businesses throughout the market., • Interested in building within a fast-paced, execution-focused environment where success is driven by ownership, grit, and real-world business results. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, distribution, warehousing, or operations., • Experience working with cross-functional teams across operations, finance, supply chain, engineering, or leadership., • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or operational excellence principles.
