Job Description Position Summary The Residential Porter is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential grounds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Residential Porter will conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, and state and federal laws (OSHA, ADA and Fair Housing). Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Assisting the property management team as needed, to assure that properties are maintained and operated at a level that meets the company’s objectives and causes tenants to be satisfied and inclined to continue as tenants. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Clean hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met., • Vacuum, sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms, mops or powered machines., • Wash windows, glass partitions, and mirrors., • Dust and disinfect furniture, walls, machines, and equipment., • Perform garbage-related tasks., • Complete unit turnover tasks., • Perform light painting as needed., • Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience in custodial work., • Familiar with the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals., • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift, up to 60 pounds., • Be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
