Overview: The Sr. Project Engineer role will oversee and execute the project controls and management of a multiple discipline, EPC project. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • As part of an interdisciplinary team the Peer Specialist will be responsible for supporting a caseload of 15–20 high-needs (serious mental illness, substance use, homelessness) participants at a time, providing face-to-face, telephonic, and community Peer recovery support and advocacy., • Establish supportive, peer-based relationships grounded in trust, mutual respect, and shared experience, • Provide one-on-one peer mentoring, advocacy, and emotional support to program participants, • Assist participants in identifying goals related to housing, employment, wellness, sobriety, and social connection, • Accompany participants to court appearances, community appointments, or service referrals as needed, • Support participants in navigating court requirements, probation/parole expectations, and community service obligations, • Provide court-based Peer support to participants upon completion of arraignment, identifying immediate needs or concerns, and facilitating immediate connections to community-based services, • Facilitate or co-facilitate peer-led groups focused on recovery, emotional regulation, life skills, and reentry planning, • Collaborate with case managers and legal advocates to ensure participant needs and preferences are understood and honored, • Participate in regular supervision, peer development meetings, and trainings related to harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and justice-system navigation, • Document participant engagement and progress in a timely manner in an electronic case management system in accordance with program guidelines and confidentiality requirements, • Uphold ethical guidelines, competencies, and boundaries appropriate to peer support roles REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • HS Diploma or equivalency required, • NYS Peer Specialist certification (CPS) OR Recovery Peer Advocate certification (CRPA) required. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a part-time, exempt position in an educational facility that is open eight hours a day. Teachers, psychosocial teachers, and staff clinicians work ten months out of the year according to the academic calendar (late August to late June). Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required, anticipate at least three of these events throughout the year. In general, though, hours are Mondays and Wednesday 8am-4pm and Fridays 12pm-4pm. Job Description Purpose of Position: The Senior Supervisor will assist the Management team with providing overall supervision of the day-to-day operations of various building service contracts held by Wildcat and Fedcap Rehabilitation Services. The Senior Supervisor will supervise janitorial supervisors and cleaning crews assigned to various locations. The Supervisor will assist the Operations Manager in overseeing the cleaning operations for janitorial contracts, throughout the metropolitan area that includes various locations, day, night, and weekend shifts, all depending on operational needs. Essential Functions: • Facilitates training for supervisors, lead workers, and cleaning crews; interacts with customer base to address janitorial concerns/ issues or additional requests for detailed cleaning and floor care jobs., • Provide weekly inspection and operation reports., • Conducts follow-up meetings and reports on all service requests and issues., • Identifies and communicates opportunities for additional cleaning services to the Operations Managers and Director of Facilities Management., • Manage staff schedules and cover shifts at various site locations as needed., • Provide shift coverage as needed, including but not limited to personally, covering shift(s), changes in work location or shift to accommodate last-minute emergencies, coverages of sites, and/or any other Facilities Management operational needs., • Perform other duties as assigned. Job DescriptionOverview The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers make a difference in people's lives. Through the collection and resale of gently used goods we are able to provide the financial support to assist men and women with a variety of social and spiritual afflictions. The in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities with every man or woman being provided a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure time activities, group and individual counseling, and spiritual direction. All our effort is focused on developing life skills and a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. More than just a job, each member of the team contributes to recycling goods that literally recycle and repair broken lives. The Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Intake Coordinator to work cooperatively with Program staff to maintain a quality intake system. Duties: • Be a part of a team that provides a caring, respectful atmosphere to those seeking our help., • Work cooperatively with all ARC staff, beneficiaries, and other outside agencies., • Develop and maintain a network of outside referral sources by telephone, letter, and personal contact to: (1) arrange for the referral of applicants to The Salvation Army ARC program; (2) arrange for outside sources to tour and view The Salvation Army ARC program; and (3) make appropriate referrals to resources outside the ARC program., • Interview, assess, and process necessary paper work for applicants to the ARC program, striving to maintain a full capacity at all times. Provide a positive, appealing, and uplifting first impression of the ARC program. Maintain a waiting list of potential applicants. Assist potential applicants with the completion of all required forms. Provide applicants who are not appropriate for admission with resources of other suitable services., • Ensure that the house tracking system is maintained and updated at least weekly, including changes to counseling assignments, bed assignments, and work therapy assignments., • Assist counselor and other senior program staff in crisis intervention as needed., • Meet with supervisor for supervision and evaluation. (Preferably once a month)., • Ensure that weekly gratuity reports are updated and forwarded to the finance office for gratuity processing as assigned., • Complete or compile all beneficiary time cards/sheets each week., • As directed by Administrator(s), coordinate with outside groups to bring speakers and information that model Christian values of recovery and have an active commitment to substance free living., • Record statistical information as related to your area of responsibility. Submit to Administrator(s) within three business days following the end of the month. Daily/weekly reporting is to be done immediately., • Operate compliance screening for prohibited substances equipment, as required, keeping an accurate and up to date record of all test results. Maintain all equipment, including breathalyzers, to ensure validity and accuracy of results., • Attend weekly staff meetings and all meetings as requested by the Administrator(s). Present resident cases as requested., • Attend retreats, conferences, and other Salvation Army events as scheduled and assigned (which may include weekend and/or evening time)., • This position will support the work therapy program component of The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers by providing to beneficiaries; an example of professional conduct, work habits, and supervision (as directed by Supervisor)., • Other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor and/or Administrator(s).
