About the Role We are looking for a focused, analytical, and highly driven General Manager to lead daily operations at our FAA Part 145 Repair Station. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, stays composed under pressure, and brings a direct, factual communication style to a team that depends on clarity and accuracy. You will oversee production, compliance, workflow structure, and team performance—balancing fast decision-making with the need for disciplined, systematic processes required in a regulated repair station. What You’ll Do • Direct day-to-day shop operations with a strong emphasis on efficiency, structure, and timely execution., • Manage project timelines, labor planning, scheduling, and resource allocation with a methodical, detail-driven approach., • Lead and develop technicians and support staff through straightforward, clear expectations and hands-on performance management., • Track and analyze core operational metrics including:, • Productivity (billable vs. paid hours), • On-time delivery, • Rework / quality escape rate, • Safety and compliance performance, • Identify operational gaps quickly and respond with decisive action—especially in shifting priorities or unexpected challenges., • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal teams, providing direct and factual communication., • Maintain strict adherence to FAA Part 145 requirements while reinforcing a structured, predictable workflow environment., • Is naturally analytical and prefers decisions grounded in data and facts., • Communicates in a direct, concise, straightforward manner., • Can be approachable when needed but is comfortable working independently for long periods., • Performs at their best when pressure is high, priorities shift, and fast reactions are required., • Works with intensity and urgency—driving themselves and others toward results., • Becomes restless with slow, repetitive environments and prefers continuous problem-solving and project movement., • Still values a structured, orderly workflow where tasks and processes are methodical and predictable., • Has strong mental stamina and can handle long hours, frequent interruptions, and constant operational demands., • Maintains exceptional detail accuracy, especially under pressure.
