Job Description WCD is seeking an experienced and driven System Support Manager to lead and support warehouse IT operations, infrastructure, and systems management across our distribution network. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing warehouse technology, network operations, telephony systems, help desk support, business continuity planning, and regional system support teams. The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader with experience in warehouse systems, logistics technology, and IT infrastructure management in a fast-paced operational environment. Key Responsibilities: IT Infrastructure & Networking • Support and oversee the warehouse IT infrastructure, including network systems and local area networks (LAN), • Assist with planning and implementing infrastructure upgrades, modifications, and expansions, • Ensure network security standards are maintained according to corporate policies, • Lead and support regional System Support teams in daily operations and troubleshooting, • Coordinate with Corporate IT, Security, Network, and Desktop Support teams on standards and procedures Systems & Operations Support • Provide leadership and technical support for warehouse and transportation systems, • Support WMS, TMS, logistics technology, and operational systems, • Oversee troubleshooting, system backups, archiving, and disaster recovery procedures, • Assist with implementation and support of internal systems and projects, • Respond to escalated technical and operational support issues Telephony & Technical Equipment • Manage and maintain warehouse telephone systems and upgrades, • Oversee phone routing, system changes, and communication devices, • Ensure all technology assets are properly maintained and supported Help Desk & Team Leadership • Oversee regional and local help desk operations, • Lead high-level technical support efforts and escalated issue resolution, • Support and mentor System Support team members, • Maintain tracking systems and ensure timely resolution of IT-related issues Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery • Support system failover preparation and disaster recovery processes, • Work closely with operations teams to minimize downtime during critical events, • Maintain and document step-by-step continuity and recovery plans, • Participate in bi-yearly testing and training exercises, • Manage purchasing of IT hardware, software, and related supplies, • Build and maintain vendor relationships, • Ensure company technology assets are maintained responsibly, • Prepare operational reports for leadership and corporate teams Qualifications: • 4–5+ years of experience in systems management, IT infrastructure, or warehouse technology environments, • Strong knowledge of networking, LAN administration, WMS, and TMS systems, • Experience with SQL, VM server setup, system failover, and disaster recovery processes, • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, • Logistics and EDI knowledge preferred, • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, • Ability to work independently and lead technical teams in a fast-paced environment, • College-level training or equivalent work experience preferred, • Certifications in networking or related IT fields are a plus, • Travel is required based on operational and project needsCompany DescriptionEpic Personnel Partners, LLC is a privately held woman-owned staffing firm.
