Job Description We are looking for a Warehouse worker to join our team for a well known global manufacturing company. The Stockroom/Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring smooth movement, organization, and handling of materials within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves physical labor, coordination with team members, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Job Description:- • Receive incoming shipments, inspected goods for accuracy/damage, and matched items to purchase orders before logging them into the inventory system., • Organized and maintained stockroom inventory, ensuring products were properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible to support daily operations., • Picked, packed, and prepared customer or internal orders with high accuracy, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Managed inventory counts through regular cycle counts and full audits, identifying discrepancies and reporting issues to supervisors., • Operated warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts) safely and efficiently to move and organize merchandise., • Maintained a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards., • Collaborated closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and managers to coordinate workflow and meet operational targets., • Assisted in staging outbound shipments by preparing pallets, labeling packages, and coordinating pickup schedules with carriers., • Updated inventory records in software systems to ensure real-time accuracy and prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Essential Skills :- • Ability to repetitively lift, move, place, pack, and unpack materials up to 50 lbs., • High school diploma or equivalent., • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing, stockroom, shipping, or receiving environment., • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work in a close-knit, cross-functional environment., • Strong verbal communication skills in English., • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and anticipate work needs in a fast-paced setting., • Must be reliable and able to work overtime when needed., • Dexterity to adjust, repair, assemble, and handle tools and products accurately., • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Non Essential Skills:- • Experience working in a Research & Development (R&D) environment., • Basic computer skills (email, Excel, ERP systems). Physical & Mental Demands:- • Frequently required to sit, walk, bend, stoop, climb, kneel, crouch, and stand in an industrial environment., • Repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment and power tools., • Must be able to perform tasks requiring close vision, distance vision, color/peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus., • Ability to stay alert, safe, and consistent in job performance., • Ability to:, • Use strong written and oral communication, • Read and interpret data, documents, and information, • Make judgments, reason, and solve problems, • Learn and apply new information quickly, • Perform multiple concurrent tasks, • Work under tight deadlines with interruptions, • Handle frustrated or dissatisfied customers professionally, • Supported overall warehouse productivity by taking on additional tasks such as restocking shelves, breaking down pallets, and reorganizing overstock.
