Location: New York – MarketSite (1st and 2nd \nFloor) \nSchedule: 8am-4pm ET, Hybrid (1 day WFH) \nContract type: W2 under Staffing Supplier \nContract Duration: 6 months \nPay rate: $27.77/hour \nStart Date: 01/12/2026 \nInterview Process: 4 rounds – 2 virtual, 2 onsite \nVisa Sponsorship not provided \n \nAs NASDAQ’s Event & Broadcast Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role at our iconic MarketSite by blending AV technical know-how and live broadcast expertise with corporate communication savvy. This hands-on position supports a range of high-profile, mission-critical NASDAQ events—such as Opening and Closing Bells, IPO ceremonies, and industry broadcasts. Your efforts will help elevate NASDAQ’s brand among listed, prospective, and external stakeholder companies. \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLive Broadcast Operations\n\n\n\t • Collaborate with business units and external partners to exchange media content and transmit broadcasts, including coverage of field and live special events.\n\t, • Develop, coordinate, and maintain the technical and production infrastructure for broadcast events and media teams, including journalists.\n\t, • Facilitate negotiations regarding content exchange/sale and all duplication responsibilities for broadcast operations.\n\t, • Ensure seamless broadcast scheduling and effective use of broadcast equipment.\n\t, • Serve as a technical point of contact for on-site reporters, internal teams, and clients.\n\n\nInternal Event Management\n\n\n\t, • Plan and execute MarketSite Opening and Closing Bell ceremonies and special events for issuers and non-issuers.\n\t, • Proactively book events based on timely global happenings and NASDAQ priorities.\n\t, • Liaise with business partners and the MarketSite tech team on all event logistics, ensuring technical infrastructure and support is in place.\n\t, • Promote creative and expanded use of MarketSite—such as photo shoots, tower messaging, and promotional activities—to increase exposure and revenue.\n\n\nExternal Event Delivery\n\n\n\t, • Support NASDAQ’s Client & Corporate Governance objectives through hands-on planning and successful execution of global programs and events.\n\t, • Build and maintain positive, high-value relationships with management at listed and prospective companies.\n\t, • Produce or sponsor events that establish NASDAQ OMX’s reputation for thought leadership in the global economic landscape.\n\t, • Elevate companies through events that champion their brand, provide leadership visibility, and foster peer networking.\n\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n\n\t, • Education: Bachelor’s degree required\n\t, • Experience: 4-5 years in live broadcast and corporate communications required\n\t, • Technical Skills: AV technology expertise with solid experience operating audio boards\n\t, • Professional Skills: Strong written communication, event management, and marketing background\n\t, • Certifications: Relevant credentials in event management and/or marketing preferred\n\n\nCore Competencies\n\n\n\t, • Functional knowledge of broadcast operations and equipment\n\t, • Experience planning and managing event logistics and production schedules\n\t, • Creative, resourceful, and capable of leveraging NASDAQ’s platforms for increased visibility and impact\n\t, • Business understanding to align event and broadcast activities with NASDAQ’s strategic goals\n\t, • Problem solving using established processes; growing comfort with independent judgment\n\t, • Collaborative, proactive communicator—both internally and with client-facing partners\n\t, • Active listener, open communicator, and relationship builder\n\n\nAdditional Skills & Attributes\n\n\n\t, • Flexible schedule; able to work outside standard hours as required by event timing\n\t, • Able to produce draft project plans and adjust to changing timelines and specifications\n\t, • Strong time management and prioritization skills\n\t, • Growing market and technology trend awareness to develop compelling presentations and event experiences\n\t Find what’s next with Kelly®.
