We have launched in several markets, including Turkey, Bangladesh, India, China and parts of Europe and we have ambitious growth plans. Our company is founded by international entrepreneurs, all of whom have significant experience and expertise in manufacturing, gained at senior and Board level. We have global investment partnerships set up with in-country banks, and our revenue is generated through textile machinery manufacturers, on both a subscription basis and single transactions. Our aim is to make the latest and most sustainable manufacturing technology accessible globally to all sizes of textile manufacturers. Our platform is rapidly gaining traction with both textile and machinery manufacturers. About The Role We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology & Digital Officer (CTDO/CDO) to join our executive team. This critical leadership role will be responsible for defining, executing, and evolving Ivy Decarb’s global technology strategy, digital product roadmap, and overall platform architecture across all our target markets (Italy, Turkey, Bangladesh, India, China, and other sourcing countries). You will own the entire technology and product development function, driving platform innovation, scalability, security, and digital transformation for our B2B SaaS marketplace platform in the sustainable textile machinery sector. As such, it’s essential that you’ll have significant experience in building, scaling, and modernizing a global B2B/SaaS platform, leading agile software development, implementing data-driven product strategies, and ensuring the technical foundation supports aggressive global growth and sustainability objectives. You will be excited about working in a startup with a distinct product offering that is transforming the sustainability of the textile industry. Key Responsibilities Develop and govern the global technology strategy, architecture, and engineering roadmap for the Ivy Decarb platform. Lead the entire Product and Engineering organization, fostering an agile, innovative, and results-oriented culture. Oversee all aspects of digital product development, from concept and design to deployment, focusing on user experience, performance, and security. Drive digital innovation initiatives, including the adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, data analytics) to enhance the marketplace value proposition and operational efficiency. Ensure the platform's technical infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure to support global expansion and a high volume of B2B transactions. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align technology solutions with business objectives and market demand. Manage and grow the global technology budget and lead a multidisciplinary team (Engineering, DevOps, Data Science, Product Management). Define and track key technical and product metrics (e.g., uptime, performance, feature adoption, cost-per-transaction, development velocity) and implement reporting dashboards. About You 10+ years of progressive experience in technology and digital leadership, with at least 3-5 years in a senior/executive leadership (CTO/VP of Engineering/CDO) role , preferably within a B2B SaaS or marketplace technology company. Strong background in cloud architecture, scalable software engineering, and digital product management in an international setting. Proven hands-on experience developing and executing global technology and product roadmaps for complex industrial or technical platforms. Ideally, a solid understanding of the textile industry, manufacturing processes, or sustainability/decarbonization technology. Proven leadership of high-performing, geographically distributed Engineering and Product teams. High level of rigor in technical due diligence, budgeting, and performance measurement of digital platforms. Fluent, high-level English ; comfortable operating in global contexts. Ability to translate complex business challenges into clear, technical strategies and vice versa.
