This role is key to strengthening our market position by building strong relationships with planners, consultants, and engineering firms, ensuring Siemens solutions are specified at the earliest stages of building projects. /ppThe Planner Office plays a critical role in bridging sales, technical teams, and the external planning ecosystem by shaping value propositions, supporting project development, and enabling customer‑centric engagement aligned with our Go‑to‑Market strategy. By combining market insight, technical expertise, and structured engagement with key stakeholders, this position contributes directly to increasing hit rates, accelerating pipeline growth, and improving profitability. /ppThis strategic function works closely with Sales, PreSales, Verticals, Marketing, and Bid Proposal teams, ensuring a coordinated approach to key opportunities while positioning Siemens as a trusted partner for sustainable, smart, and digital buildings. /ph3Key Responsibilities: /h3ulliIdentify, engage, and develop strong, long‑term relationships with key planners, consultants, and engineering firms, acting as a trusted technical and commercial advisor. /liliDrive the prescription of Siemens Smart Infrastructure Buildings portfolio (solutions, products, services, and sustainability offerings) within the planner and engineering community to support sales growth and market penetration. /liliDevelop, standardise, and promote compelling value propositions and prescription materials tailored to relevant vertical markets, ensuring clear differentiation of Siemens offerings. /liliDefine, maintain, and prioritise a structured planner/consultant pipeline, including account mapping, segmentation, and action plans to maximise coverage and impact. /liliPosition Siemens Buildings’ Go‑to‑Market strategy to planners, leveraging both direct channels and partner ecosystem to ensure early project influence. /liliMonitor and steer prescribed opportunities from early design stages through handover to sales, ensuring proper tracking, KPI follow‑up, and successful conversion. /liliCollaborate closely with other teams to ensure a coordinated approach and maximise impact on strategic projects, pursuing Siemens OneTech company. /liliSupport strategic deals by providing insights, technical guidance, and prescription leverage throughout the sales lifecycle. /liliOrganise and drive planner engagement activities such as trainings, workshops, webinars, and local events to strengthen Siemens positioning and influence. /li /ulh3Requirements: /h3ulliDegree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering or related technical fields. /liliExperience in technical sales, pre‑sales, application engineering, or specification roles in the building or infrastructure sector (Planner, Consultant, or engineering‑facing roles preferred). /liliStrong understanding of the building ecosystem, including planners, consultants, engineering firms, end customers and project lifecycle (from design to execution). /liliKnowledge of smart building technologies and ability to position integrated, value‑based solutions. /liliProven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders in early project phases. /liliExperience in developing value propositions, technical documentation, or specification materials. /liliStrong analytical and organisational skills (KPIs, pipeline management, reporting). /liliExcellent communication and presentation skills. /liliAbility to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing and technical teams. /liliHigh level of English; additional languages are a plus. /liliWillingness to travel within the assigned region. /li /ulh3What We Offer? /h3ulliA strategic role with direct impact on SI Buildings’ business. /liliCollaboration with an expert team in smart building solutions. /liliOpportunities for professional growth within a global and innovative company. /liliCompetitive compensation, along with training and development programs. /li /ulpAt Siemens, we value the diversity of our teams, promote equal opportunities, and foster an inclusive work environment.
