This position supports the Western Iowa region and is based out of the Store Support Center in Dubuque, IA, with regular travel throughout the territory. /b /p pbJob Description /b /p pThe Regional Merchandiser reports directly to the Regional Manager and is responsible for driving merchandising execution across all stores within their assigned region. This role ensures consistent implementation of company merchandising standards, seasonal transitions, promotional directives, impulse merchandising, recovery standards, and planogram accuracy. /p pThe Regional Merchandiser partners with the Purchasing team across all departments, Store Operations, Marketing Operations, and Store Planning to deliver clear, efficient merchandising direction that supports a brand-right shopping experience. This position also plays a key role in new store openings and major resets within their region, ensuring merchandising plans, fixtures, and visual standards are executed accurately and on schedule. /p pbQualifications /b /p ul liBachelor’s degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience accepted. /li liMinimum 2 years of Store Operations experience. /li liValid driver’s license and safe driving record. /li liCombination of education and experience may be considered. /li liTravel required: 60–70% field time, including overnight stays for store sets and resets. /li /ul pbKey Responsibilities /b /p h3bRegional Merchandising Execution /b /h3 ul liEnsure consistent merchandising execution across all stores in the assigned region. /li liSupport new store openings and major resets, ensuring merchandising plans and standards are fully implemented. /li liDuring routine store visits - verify completion of the Monthly Merchandising Playbook, required endcaps, ad set, Outdoor Merchandising Guide, seasonal changeover transitions, planogram implementation and updates, register impulse items, wing panels, clip strips, and other impulse-driven sales features. /li liVerify store recovery standards, including zoning, facing, cleanliness, fixture organization, and overall presentation readiness. /li /ul h3bCompetitive Benchmarking /b /h3 ul liRegularly visit and evaluate competitor stores within the region. /li liBenchmark merchandising standards, seasonal execution, feature placement, impulse merchandising, and overall presentation. /li liProvide insights to Store Operations and Purchasing on competitive trends, strengths, and gaps. /li liUse competitive observations to help refine merchandising execution and elevate the customer experience. /li /ul h3bVisual Merchandising Standards /b /h3 ul liTeach, coordinate, and execute Visual Merchandising Basic Guidelines. /li liMaintain and evolve merchandising standards and best practices. /li liPlan and coordinate everyday features, including end caps, pallet drops, dump bins, wing panels, clip strips, and impulse items. /li liPlan and coordinate seasonal features such as LG centers, chick days, winter snow removal sets, and other seasonal events. /li /ul h3bStore Sets Resets /b /h3 ul liAssist the Store Planning Project Coordinator during major resets within the region. /li liSupport new store sets and large-scale merchandising transitions within the region. /li /ul h3bStore Planning Data Infrastructure /b /h3 ul liMaintain accurate store blueprint database information. /li liPartner with the Store Planning Office Coordinator to ensure blueprint accuracy. /li liManage fixture inventory needs at each location. /li /ul h3bPricing, Signage Compliance /b /h3 ul liEnsure pricing and signage compliance across assigned stores.li /liliSupport execution of promotional and marketing directives. /li /ul pPerform other duties as assigned /p pbRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities /b /p pTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Occasional physical demands include lifting up to 25 lbs., bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, squatting, climbing stairs and firmly grasping. The employee is required to accept incoming calls and must be able to hear and speak. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision adequate for the incumbent to perform the responsibilities and functions of the job efficiently. The associate must have the manual dexterity to manually operate and use a computer and other basic office equipment. /p pbWork Environment and Working Conditions /b /p pThis position will be performed inside a climate-controlled office facility.
