We are seeking an experienced and creative Communications Manager to lead the development and delivery of impactful internal and external communication strategies that strengthen our brand, engage our community, and support our school's growth objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who is passionate about education, storytelling, brand management, and community engagement. About the role Reporting to the School Leadership Team, the Communications Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating communication initiatives that enhance the school's reputation, increase brand awareness, and foster strong relationships with families, staff, prospective parents, and the wider community. The successful candidate will collaborate across the organisation to ensure consistent messaging, effective communication practices, and alignment with the school's strategic priorities and values. Key Functions: 1. Development, implementation and monitoring of marketing communications strategic plans • In line with the strategic priorities defined with SCP, lead the planning, implementation and monitoring of internal and external communications, as well as marketing-related events., • Monitor the marketing budget., • Liaise with media, creative and PR agencies., • Support the School Leadership Team with school communications, ensuring that brand tone and style are consistently applied. 1. Management of the school's organic online presence • Manage the content and style of the school website and social media channels., • Analyse and optimise online communication channels., • Review and archive school communication content, identifying what is relevant for publication in line with the brand strategy., • Manage the school's online reputation. 1. Team Coordination • Promote a One Team approach through communication and alignment between Communications, school Admissions and the central team., • Support the training and development of the Communications support role (if applicable) 1. Internal and Community Communications • Lead and coordinate key internal communication initiatives for staff, families and the wider school community., • Support the School Leadership Team in drafting and delivering clear, timely and consistent communications., • Develop communication plans for major school events, milestones, campaigns and sensitive issues. 1. Content and Reputation Management • Create, curate and manage high-quality content across digital and offline channels., • Monitor brand perception, online reputation and stakeholder feedback, escalating issues where required., • Support crisis and issues communications in line with school and group protocols. Qualifications & Experience Required • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field., • Minimum of 2 years' experience developing and delivering communication strategies, campaigns, and materials., • Experience in public relations, media relations, and stakeholder communications., • Strong ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation., • Proven experience managing multiple stakeholder groups, preferably within education or a service-focused environment., • Experience working within brand guidelines and collaborating with wider marketing teams is highly desirable., • Committed to continuously improving communication effectiveness and engagement. Key Skills Required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish., • Strong understanding of PR, branding, and communication strategies., • Highly organised, with excellent time management and multitasking abilities., • Skilled at creating engaging, on-brand communications for diverse audiences., • Digitally savvy, with strong knowledge of social media and online communication channels., • Analytical, data-driven, and results-oriented., • Effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills., • Strong attention to detail, commitment to brand consistency, and alignment with organisational values.
