ph3European Mixed-Use Branded Residences Platform /h3 pThe Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a Board-facing executive responsible for leading the end-to-end development of a portfolio of mixed-use, hospitality-led, and branded residential projects across Europe. The role encompasses the full development lifecycle from acquisition support, feasibility, concept creation, master planning, design management, financial underwriting, stakeholder engagement, procurement, construction delivery, and project completion. /p pThe successful candidate will combine exceptional real estate development expertise with strong technical knowledge across design, engineering, and construction, together with commercial and financial acumen. The CDO will be accountable for delivering projects that meet the highest standards of quality, profitability, brand compliance, sustainability, and operational readiness. /p pReporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CDO will play a critical role in shaping the company's growth strategy while ensuring successful execution of a complex, high-value development pipeline. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Strategic Development Leadership /h3 ul liLead the development strategy and execution of mixed‑use developments incorporating branded residences, hospitality, residential, retail, leisure, and commercial components. /li liDrive projects from inception through planning, design, delivery, completion, and handover. /li liAdvise the Board on development opportunities, risks, market trends, and investment decisions. /li liSupport acquisition, underwriting, and investment committee processes by providing development inputs and execution assessments. /li /ul h3Development Management /h3 ul liEnsure development programs, budgets, quality standards, and commercial objectives are achieved. /li liDevelop and implement project governance frameworks and reporting structures. /li liIdentify, manage, and mitigate project risks throughout the development process. /li /ul h3Design Technical Leadership /h3 ul liDirect multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, consultants, project managers, and specialist advisors. /li liEnsure design excellence and adherence to brand standards across all developments. /li liLead the coordination of design, engineering, technical compliance, sustainability, and value engineering initiatives. /li /ul h3Financial Commercial Management /h3 ul liLead development budgeting, cost planning, and financial forecasting processes. /li liWork closely with finance and investment teams to assess project viability and returns. /li liReview and challenge development appraisals, pro‑formas, cash flows, and sensitivity analyses. /li liManage project budgets and capital expenditure throughout the development lifecycle. /li /ul h3Construction Delivery /h3 ul liProvide executive oversight of construction activities across multiple projects and jurisdictions. /li liManage external project management teams, contractors, and consultants. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Management /h3 ul liAct as the primary executive interface with: /li liInternational hotel and branded residence operators /li liJoint venture partners /li liInvestors and lenders /li liGovernment authorities /li /ul h3Essential Experience /h3 ul liMinimum 15+ years of senior real estate development experience. /li liDemonstrated track record of successfully delivering large‑scale mixed‑use developments. /li liSignificant experience developing branded residential and hospitality‑led projects. /li liProven ability to take projects from concept and acquisition through to completion and operational handover. /li liExperience operating across multiple European jurisdictions. /li liExtensive exposure to complex urban regeneration, mixed‑use, and master‑planned developments. /li liBoard‑level reporting experience. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
