Our clients include large-scale farmers, agricultural distributors, input retailers, and food processors. They use plant biosignal data to optimize irrigation, fertilizer and crop protection inputs, boost yields, and adopt more sustainable practices across berries, vines, orchards, potatoes, canola, sweetcorn and other field/tropical crops. Role Description The objective of this role is to accelerate full speed our commercial scale-up in outdoor farming, in where a Commercial Manager – for Spain, Portugal and Italy as well as Spanish speaking markets will drive revenue growth and build channel partnerships with distributors, ag retailers, and large farmers to bring Vivent’s plant-driven technology to thousands of hectares. As Commercial Manager , you will lead go-to-market efforts for the outdoor segment for Spain (including some indoor crops), Portugal and Italy as well as Spanish speaking markets. You will drive revenue growth and build channel partnerships with distributors, ag retailers, to bring Vivent’s plant-driven technology to thousands of hectares while directly engaging strategic large farmers to integrate Vivent’s solutions into their precision farming operations. Your mission is to enable clients to: · - Reduce input costs via optimal timing of irrigation, inputs, and interventions · - Protect Farmers from yield loss by detecting crop stress early and reduce resource waste (water, fertilizers, energy, pesticides) Increase yields and quality while lowering environmental impact · - Reduce eco-footprint by scaling sustainable practices across large field operations and supply chains You will collaborate closely with our plant science, data science, product, and customer success teams to deliver high-impact deployments, demos, and long-term value. Key Responsibilities Increase revenue by developing and executing a successful commercial strategy for the outdoor farming segment, focusing on distributors, ag input retailers, cooperatives, and large-scale/enterprise outdoor farmers. Build and manage strategic partnerships with key distributors and retailers to expand market reach and accelerate adoption. Identify, qualify, and close sales contracts with large farmers and farming groups in intensive and semi-intensive crops from fruits and vegetables to some field crops. Plan with high level of detail the key accounts to target as well as the management of the full sales cycles, negotiations, contracts, and post-sale onboarding in B2B agricultural channels · Coordinate cross-functional support (technical demos, field trials, data analytics) to ensure successful implementations. Represent Vivent at trade shows, field days, grower associations, and ag innovation events · Contribute to overall company growth targets, market expansion, and thought leadership in sustainable outdoor farming Qualifications Business, Sales/Marketing/Commercial/Agronomy Degree, with strong understanding of outdoor crop production and solid Commercial Management and Contract Management skills, with experience in negotiating and executing client agreements. 7+ years of sales experience in agriculture, AgTech, farm inputs, crop protection, seeds, or ag distribution/retail Mandatory Proficiency in English and Spanish (Portuguese and Italian are desirable) Proven track record in channel management (distributors, retailers, cooperatives commerical agents) and/or direct sales to large farmers/enterprises Strong network in South Europe outdoor high value farming sectors. (indoor crops in spain is a plus) Excellent negotiation, presentation, detail oriented and relationship-building skills · Comfortable in international, fast-paced environments with willingness to travel (field visits, trade events, partner meetings) Proficiency in Business Planning, Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess market trends, and inform decision-making processes to drive revenue growth effectively. (Advanced Powerpoint and excel skills and other related sofware such as AI LLMs) Proven abilities in cross funcional leadership such as guiding, motivating, and coordinating nor direct reporting teams and contractors to achieve business goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships. This role is for you if you are...
