Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Bank Care Assistant to join our team on a flexible zero-hour contract. The role involves providing essential care and assistance to individuals across various settings, including our Adult Day Centre and Outreach Support programs. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients, while also being able to perform physical tasks (including heavy lifting when required). Pay:£18 - £20 per hour To begin your employment with us, you will need to complete the fully funded Level 2 Adult Social Care Course. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a Level 2 Certificate in Adult Care, allowing you to start your role as a Care Assistant. Key Responsibilities: - Daily Activities Support: Assist with mobility, social engagement, and daily routines. - Relationship Building: Establish positive, trusting relationships with residents and staff members. - Outreach Activities:Participate in community outings or provide companionship to clients during outreach programs. - Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up to date records of care provided. - Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure a high standard of care is consistently delivered. - Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for clients and staff. Requirements: - Right to work : Must be eligible to work in the UK. - Experience:No prior experience is required; full training will be provided. Skills: - Compassionate nature and a desire to make a positive impact on others. - Ability to work well in a team setting. - Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with residents. - Driver’s License: Not essential. - Flexibility:Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. - Shifts: Ability to work across various shifts, including 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.
