Vehicle Maintenance Technician Location: Stanford-le-Hope (Coryton) – On-Site Workshop Salary: £48,180 per annum + £1,800 London Weighting Allowance + overtime About the Role We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join a busy on-site workshop in Coryton. This permanent role involves maintaining, repairing, and diagnosing heavy vehicles, trailers, and plant equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will work in a supportive, team-focused environment with opportunities for training and career development. Vehicle Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: • Carry out maintenance, repairs, and inspections on HGVs, trailers, and plant equipment., • Diagnose faults and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards., • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all maintenance and repairs., • Work independently and as part of a team, supporting colleagues and ensuring fleet readiness., • Follow health and safety procedures at all times. Vehicle Maintenance Technician Requirements: • Qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or proven practical experience in the industry., • Knowledge of vehicle systems, trailers, plant, and workshop equipment., • Strong diagnostic skills with a safety-first mindset., • Team player with good communication and organisational skills., • Desirable: HGV C licence and ADR certification (training provided if required).
