Are you passionate about animal care and education We are seeking a dedicatedAnimal Management Technician Instructorto join our Animal Management team. This is a hands-on role combining animal husbandry student supervision and instructional support to deliver an outstanding learning experience. Youll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Animal Management Unit supporting practical sessions and ensuring high standards of welfare and safety. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment where your expertise will directly impact student development and success. Essential Criteria • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Animal Management, • Minimum Level 2 in Maths and English, • Experience working in an animal management environment, • Strong organisational and communication skills, • Supervise students and support practical sessions within the Animal Management Unit, • Deliver high standards of animal care in line with legislation and college policies, • Lead on projects to improve the unit and expand species accommodation, • Plan and implement schemes of learning in collaboration with tutors, • Maintain stock levels and liaise with suppliers for procurement, • Support promotional events and student recruitment activities, • Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes, • Maintain accurate records and support student assessment and progress, • Competitive salary, • 30Bookable annual leave days bank holidays and 2 weeks off at Christmas., • Professional development opportunities., • Access to same-day GP appointments high street discounts discounted hair and beauty treatments electric car scheme., • On-site gym & florist (site dependent).
