Business Development Manager (Remote, with 2 meet ups twice a month) £35k£40k base + Commission Company Overview We are working with a fast-growing SaaS company that is transforming how e-commerce brands boost revenue and customer engagement. Their platform delivers proven increases in conversion rates through smart on-site engagement tools including exit-intent overlays, web push notifications, personalised banners, and dynamic messaging all designed to turn abandoning visitors into paying customers. The Role As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a key part in the company's expansion across the UK and Europe. You will focus on mid-to-large online retailers and e-commerce brands, introducing them to a powerful suite of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) solutions that deliver measurable revenue uplift. This is a full-cycle sales position: you'll prospect, book meetings, run discovery calls, deliver tailored demos, negotiate contracts, and onboard new clients successfully. What You Will Bring • At least 2 years proven experience in B2B sales or business development (ideally SaaS, martech, or e-commerce solutions), • A genuine interest in digital / performance marketing and affiliate channels, • Demonstrable success in managing and closing a sales pipeline, • Confidence presenting and selling to senior decision-makers (e-commerce directors, heads of marketing, CEOs), • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to spot and convert opportunities, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a strong advantage), • Data-driven mindset comfortable reading reports and using insights to shape conversations, • Creative problem-solving and a proactive, results-focused attitude, • Ability to collaborate with customer success and technical teams while also thriving when working independently Nice-to-Have (not essential) • Previous experience selling to or working with advertising/agency partners, • Background in affiliate marketing or performance-based solutions, • Familiarity with martech/adtech ecosystems, • Fluency in a second European language, • Basic HTML knowledge This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-growth technology company and directly influence how leading online retailers maximise their website performance.
