Role: Social Media Manager Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon- Fri, 10:00 - 18:00 Contract: Permanent Salary: £35,333 per annum Location: Metropolis Studios, Chiswick, London. (Hybrid) About the Role Join the social media team at ACM, the renowned institution shaping the next generation of music industry talent, and its iconic partner Metropolis Studios. From emerging artists to global stars like RAYE, PinkPantheress, The Cure, and Wet Leg, you’ll help tell the story of where music history is made every day, while driving the digital presence of both ACM and the legendary studios behind countless iconic sounds. We're looking for a creative, proactive and digitally-savvy Social Media Manager (Content Creator & Channel Manager) to take ownership of our day-to-day social presence across ACM and Metropolis Studios. You'll help shape and grow our online voice, build community, test trends, and deliver content that strengthens brand reputation while driving measurable results. Working closely with the Marketing team, you'll plan and produce social content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X and YouTube. You'll need to understand and adapt to the distinct brand personalities and audiences of both ACM and Metropolis Studios, tailoring content strategies to suit each brand's unique positioning and goals. This role is perfect for someone who can shoot and edit content on-the-go, has great copywriting skills, and uses data to drive decision-making. You'll be hands-on, organised, not afraid to try new trends, and confident creating content at speed, with sharp attention to detail and a clear understanding of how to leverage tools to work smarter and raise the quality bar. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Production • Shoot high-quality content using mobile devices for immediate social posting, • Edit video and static content to platform specifications and audience expectations, • Write compelling, on-brand copy that drives engagement and conversions across all channels, • Own daily management of ACM and Metropolis Studios social channels across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X and YouTube, • Develop platform-specific content strategies, recognising the different audiences and content needs for ACM (education-focused) and Metropolis Studios (industry & culture focused), • Manage LinkedIn presence for thought-leadership content, establishing both brands as industry authorities., • Plan, create and publish content aligned to campaign priorities, trending topics, and audience needs, • Set, monitor and optimise social media benchmarks and KPIs across all platforms, • Track and report on key performance metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, saves/shares, web traffic, and conversions, • Use data insights to continuously test and improve content performance (hooks, pacing, formats, posting patterns), • Build and maintain strong community engagement with consistent brand tone across both ACM and Metropolis Studios, • Identify opportunities for UGC, creator partnerships, student/community features, and organic growth, • Collaborate with internal teams to identify stories and translate them into compelling social content What We're Looking For Essential • Exceptional copywriting skills with proven ability to craft engaging social copy, • Mobile content creation expertise - confident shooting and editing video/photo content using smartphones and mobile editing apps, • Proven experience managing social channels, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, • Strong data analysis skills with experience setting benchmarks, tracking performance, and making data-driven optimisations, • Deep understanding of social trends and ability to quickly identify and act on viral opportunities, • Tone of voice expertise - ability to maintain distinct brand voices across different platforms and audiences, • Experience using design tools (Canva/Adobe/Figma) and scheduling platforms (Sprout Social or similar), • Highly organised with ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders, • Proactive self-starter with strong ownership mindset and accountability, • Advanced video editing skills (CapCut/Premiere/Final Cut), • Experience with thought-leadership content and B2B social strategy, • Understanding of audience segmentation and platform-specific messaging, • Experience with GA4, UTM tracking, and social conversion measurement, • Background in music, creative industries, or education sectors, • Creative Environment: Work in iconic London studios with access to state-of-the-art facilities, exclusive industry events, and daily collaboration with creative professionals, • Hybrid Flexibility: A hybrid setup based in our inspiring studio offices, combined with remote working, • Competitive Package: Competitive salary with annual review, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, • Career Growth: Clear progression pathways within our marketing team, cross-departmental collaboration, and the opportunity to shape social strategy for two distinct brands.
