Role Title - Data Project Manager Inside IR35 Contract Length - until December 2026 Role Overview We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Data Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of our Post‑Acquisition Data Integration Programme. In this role, you will oversee the end‑to‑end execution of market‑ and function‑led data initiatives, ensuring business needs are translated into actionable delivery plans and executed efficiently. You will establish and manage a centralised ‘single front door’ for all data delivery requests, maintain an integrated delivery roadmap, and provide day‑to‑day leadership across Business Analysis, Architecture, and Data Governance workstreams. This position requires both strategic thinking and strong operational discipline to ensure alignment, quality, and effective stakeholder engagement. The role reports to the Head of River Data Enablement. Key Responsibilities Integrated Delivery Planning • Develop and maintain a comprehensive, integrated delivery plan for all data integration and data delivery workstreams., • Operate and continuously improve the end‑to‑end intake and prioritisation process for new data delivery requests., • Allocate and coordinate resources across Business Analysts, Architects, and Data Governance Specialists., • Oversee execution of data integration, analysis, modelling, and governance tasks., • Act as the primary point of contact for data delivery progress, priorities, risks, and dependencies., • Identify, track, and manage delivery risks and issues., • Oversee and align data‑related activities across the wider River workstreams to ensure dependencies are visible, understood, and managed. Skills & Experience Essential • Extensive experience delivering data‑focused projects, including data integration, ingestion, data modelling, and data governance., • Proven experience establishing and managing structured demand‑management or intake processes., • Demonstrable experience leading and coordinating multi‑disciplinary data teams., • Strong understanding of data integration concepts, governance frameworks, and data quality management., • Exceptional planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams., • Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project., • Experience producing high‑quality leadership reporting and Steering Committee materials., • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to navigate complex organisational structures. Highly Desirable • Experience in insurance or financial services., • Familiarity with enterprise‑scale data transformation programmes.
