The hotel has 450 sqm of meeting space, split across three beautiful spaces, and 100 bedrooms. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Meeting and Events Sales Manager to join our team, further to our full refurbishment and rebrand in 2025. You will be an experienced event sales person (2 years minimum), ideally with some operational experience and a banqueting/events background. You will be working with a high performing team, to sell and promote events spaces to companies, agents and individuals to drive business event and social banqueting bookings.You will have a proven track record in event sales, be highly motivated, hardworking and entrepreneurial, results orientated with a strong desire to drive growth. This is an office-based role in Euston, typicallyMonday-Friday from 9am-6pm, but some flexibility is required to attend events, host FAM trips, or for out of hours site visits. RESPONSIBILITIES Deal with incoming conference and event enquiries, show arounds, contracting, administration and managing client relationships. Manage the diary to optimise utilisation of space and booking value to deliver budgeted revenue Respond to RFPs and enquiries in a timely, accurate and personalised manner to increase probability of conversion Conduct scheduled and walk-in site visits for meetings and events Collaborate with the sales and revenue teams (business blocks) to ensure business is priced to win and in line with budgets Develop relationships with new clients (agents and corporate bookers) and enhancerelationships with existing bookers this will include proactive calling Identify new business opportunities from referrals and competitor analysis this will include proactive calling Manage and coordinate meetings and events in the hotel, from enquiry stage through to the handover to the operations team Support the development of the Meeting & Events Sales Executive Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in the completion of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports Create detailed banqueting event orders (BEOs) to ensure the smooth running of all meetings and events Prepare for the weekly function sheet meeting with F&B and Operations team where all aspects of forthcoming events are reviewed in detail Collaborate with the sales and operation teams to achieve exceptional service from the beginning to the end of an event booking experience Follow up post event with all clients as per the hotels ways of working DESIRABLE Experience in using Opera Cloud Familiar in submitting proposals via Venue Directory, TAG, Cvent will be a strong advantage Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks REQUIRED Candidates must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application. 2+ years of experience in selling and managing events within a hotel or venue setting, ideally in London Experience in proactive calling TPBN1_UKCT
