Bike Refurbishment Assistant 'Bright Bikes' is a small community-focused project in Bristol providing refurbished children’s bikes to local families. We’re looking for a Bike Refurbishment Assistant for a short-term role during our busy Christmas period. Job Details • Duration: 1 month, • Days: 1–3 days per week (Tues/Wed/Thurs), • Pay: £12.50–£15 per hour, • Location: St Werburgh’s, Bristol (covered outdoor workshop) Responsibilities • Refurbishing children’s bikes to a good, safe standard, • Completing basic repairs and safety checks, • Working independently and with direction as required, • Maintaining a tidy, organised workspace About you • Basic bike mechanic skills and confidence with tools, • Able to work at a steady, efficient pace, • Reliable, motivated, and with good attention to detail, • Comfortable working in a dry but outdoor environment Please send a short message with your experience or interest, and your availability over the next month.
