Support Coordinator This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. We are looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service in South Tees. Position: S11347 Stroke Support Coordinator Location: Home-based North East and Yorkshire Region, South Tees area. The Role The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to offer support to stroke survivors and their families; plan and deliver stroke support group sessions and ensure the smooth running of the service. Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator’s key responsibilities will include: • Working with stroke survivors and carers to identify their needs, providing person centred support which enables them to achieve their desired outcomes., • Delivering an effective service in line with our case management principles ensuring that confidential and accurate records are kept on the CRM database., • Supporting clients to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes., • Working collaboratively with other professionals and organisations involved in the care of stroke survivors and carers to ensure the best possible support is provided throughout the stroke pathway. The post holder will have experience/background in: • Experience of providing person centred support., • Experience of working with people with a disability or long-term health condition, and their carers., • Experience of using technology and IT systems to support your work and keep timely, accurate records., • Effective listening skills with the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people. About the role: The Business Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the commercial and administrative operations of the racecourse, ensuring the smooth delivery of both racing and non-racing business activities. Acting as the primary on-site point of contact, the role will liaise closely with the regional sales hub, delivery teams, and clients to coordinate commercial packages from initial enquiry through to final delivery. This includes ensuring clear communication, accurate information flow, and a high standard of client service throughout the process. Working in partnership with the General Manager, the Business Coordinator will support all site-based commercial activity, including representing the venue, conducting show-rounds, and coordinating non-central and local suppliers. The role will also be responsible for ensuring all site-specific sales and marketing collateral is available, up to date, and presented professionally, alongside maintaining and updating relevant systems and records. This role is office-based for 30 hours per week, worked over 5 days out of 7. The anticipated working pattern is Monday to Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm. Responsibilities for the successful Business Coordinator include (but not limited to): • Represent the race course in an appropriate and professional manner dealing with a variety of clients and requests., • Act as the on-site co-ordination for delivery of restaurant, hospitality (race day) and EVH activity working closely with the sales hub and delivery teams., • Acting as client liaison to coordinate final booking details with smooth communication to the delivery team., • Acting as account handler for specific existing client business, used to dealing directly with the race course., • Liaison with finance, final details to ensure accurate invoicing, ensuring before-the-day payments have been made., • Work closely with operations and the delivery team to ensure accurate pre-race-day / pre-event setup and deliveries, briefing where necessary., • Coordination of localised and group-wide sponsorship collateral provision and activation., • Ensuring marketing collateral is appropriate, up to date and in good supply., • Management of direct-to-site communication and flow of enquiry., • Work with General Manager in representing the business to the local community., • Educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
