Rotational atherectomy, intravascular lithotripsy, orbital and laser atherectomy, and coronary sinus reducer implantation are available for training. For suitable candidates, UHS offers a post with training in structural intervention within our TAVI and mitral programmes, supporting the TAVI team and participating in the MDT process, including assessment of referrals and ongoing ward care. The post holder will be responsible for running a weekly angio review session, preparing the cardiac surgical MDT and participating in a weekly outpatient clinic for complex PCI patients.
