About Cue Cue Podcasts () is a leading content production company built by people who care about their craft. We produce content for brands and organisations to tell their stories. We do this by using audio and video to support wider communication strategies, from shaping ideas through to producing shows people are proud to put their name to. Our clients range from large enterprises and medium sized businesses through to NGOs and educational institutions. Notable clients include: Spare Room, Markel, Manpower Group, West Midlands Trains and Kenes. As we continue to grow, this role is vital to strengthen how we manage and develop client relationships and drive sustainable growth across the business. Role Overview The Lead Account Manager manages a portfolio of production clients and acts as the main point of contact for clients, working closely with our Production team and Sales. You’ll be responsible for keeping projects on track, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring work is delivered to a high standard. You’ll bring commercial awareness to your client relationships, taking ownership of contract renewals for your accounts and progressing additional work where appropriate. This role is hands-on and delivery focused. You’ll work closely with producers and internal teams, translating client goals into practical production plans and supporting clients throughout the life of their projects. You’ll bring care, organisation, and good judgement to your work, helping maintain strong client relationships and reliable delivery across all accounts. Success in this role comes from calm delivery, clear communication, and clients feeling supported and confident in the work being delivered. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship & Communication • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned podcast clients., • Lead client kick offs, planning sessions, and regular check ins., • Communicate clearly and confidently about our services, timelines, and delivery., • Build trusted working relationships with clients and internal teams., • Represent Cue professionally in client conversations and external settings., • Work with Marketing where needed to ensure client messaging and expectations are aligned. Account Support & Commercial Awareness • Maintain a strong understanding of client goals, priorities, and contract scope., • Confidently lead client renewals and ongoing commercial conversations., • Identify opportunities where clients may benefit from additional services or expanded support., • Share commercial insight and context with the Head of Sales and senior team members., • Keep client activity, renewals, and opportunities up to date in the CRM. Delivery Coordination • Work closely with Production to align delivery plans with client expectations and commercial commitments., • Coordinate schedules, approvals, and ongoing client communication., • Ensure client feedback is shared clearly and incorporated efficiently., • Flag risks around scope, timing, or resourcing early and escalate where appropriate. Issue Management & Team Support • Support the resolution of client, production, or scheduling issues., • Act as a point of reassurance and escalation for the Account Manager., • Sense check decisions, messaging, and approaches to client situations., • Contribute ideas to improve how client work is run as the team grows. What We're Looking For We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working directly with clients, enjoys keeping projects moving, and takes pride in delivering work properly. You’ll be organised, calm under pressure, and confident communicating with both clients and internal teams. You don’t need to have all the answers, but you should be able to sense check situations, ask the right questions, and follow things through to completion. If you love podcasts, enjoy working with clients, bringing ideas to life and seeing projects through from start to finish, you’ll fit in well here. We are a small, hands-on team that values clear communication, good judgement, and taking ownership of the work. You are trusted to make decisions, speak directly with clients, and deliver work to a high standard without unnecessary process. Skills & Experience Essential • Experience in account management, client services, or production coordination, ideally within podcasting, audio, media, or a creative agency., • A good understanding of podcast production workflows, including recording, editing, and distribution., • Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients., • Confidence discussing commercial topics with existing clients, including renewals and changes in scope., • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once., • A calm, organised approach to problem solving. Desirable • Experience working within a podcast production company or audio focused environment., • Familiarity with project management tools and CRM systems, preference for ClickUp., • Awareness of podcast analytics and performance metrics., • Experience with tools such as Descript, Riverside, Spotify for Podcasters, Apple Podcasts Connect, or Acast. Salary & Benefits • £29,000-£34,000 a year, based on experience., • 28 days holiday a year, including bank holidays., • Pension scheme with 5% employee and 3% employer contributions to start. Company contributions increase to match up to 5% after year one, and up to 7% after year two., • Flexible working hours built around core hours of 10am to 3pm, so you can shape the rest of your day around what works best., • Hybrid working, with the freedom to work from home or the office.
