We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Part time Kitchen Assistant to become part of our warm and welcoming team at CherryBrook Day Nursery. \n\n Salary: £10,400 per annum \n\n Hours: 16 hours per week, Thursday and Friday only \n\n As a kitchen assistant within our CherryBrook Day Nursery you will help the Nursery Chef to cook up tasty and nutritional meals for the children. Pay and display parking is available along the street.\n\t, • Keep the kitchen a clean and safe environment, adhering to internal and external requirements; complete the Kitchen Hygiene Checklist each month, and ensure that the Cleaning Schedule is complete and adhered to, being regularly updated and displayed prominently in the kitchen\n\t, • Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery and kitchen\n\t, • Help the chef on Thursday and Friday preparing food, washing up. \n\t, • Able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of managing different dietary requirements around food allergies - essential\n\t, • Sound Knowledge of COSHH - essential\n\t, • Able to work to a catering budget, in a manner that avoids fluctuating standards of food service - essential\n\t, • Experience and qualified to the appropriate level in any role which involves cooking in domestic or commercial property - essential\n\t, • Fluent in written and spoken English at GCSE grade C (or equivalent) - essential\n\t, • Experienced and passionate about any role that involves cooking for young children - desirable\n\t
