We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Registered Manager to join our children's home in Ealing, London, with a permanent full-time position offering an annual salary of £55,000 to £65,000. What you will do: As a Registered Manager, you will be at the helm of operations, ensuring that all regulations are adhered to and that exceptional care is provided. Your daily responsibilities include: • Meeting the requirements set by the Registered and Placing Authority., • Ensuring compliance with the Children’s Home Regulations and Ofsted’s guidelines., • Safeguarding all children and young people, maintaining excellent safeguarding procedures., • Coordinating with care teams for admissions and overseeing the development of personal plans for the children., • Facilitating effective communication with external agencies, relatives, and advocates., • Reviewing services and implementing changes for continuous improvement., • Providing direct care and supervision when necessary and managing challenging behaviours., • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide consistent and comprehensive care. Qualifications and Experience: • A minimum of two years’ experience in residential care within the last five years., • Management experience in a residential setting., • At least one year in a supervisory role in a care environment., • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent., • Comprehensive knowledge of Children Homes regulations, Quality Standards, and related legislation., • Physically and mentally prepared to manage and lead with effectiveness.
