The Linen Porter is responsible for stock counting and distributing linen correctly on each floor of the property, guaranteeing a smooth running of the housekeeping department throughout the day. Additionally, the role will involve accepting delivery of clean linen from supplier, arranging linen for pick up always maintaining a calm demeanor, and working in respect of health and safety regulation. The linen porter will also be called upon for cleaning duties, when necessary, assisting the rest of the team in cleaning rooms or public areas as well as managing all guests' requests with a positive and proactive attitude. The candidate will be methodical and conscientious with an eye for detail, ensuring the highest level of organisation. Key Responsibilities Include: - Adhere to the Health & Safety policies and demonstrate duty of care procedures to all areas within your department. - Receive and store deliveries. - Stock linen cupboards. - Report maintenance issues. - Complete the relevant daily, weekly and monthly tasks as directed. - Maintain high standards of personal presentation and hygiene in line with the company dress code. - Ensure that personal KPIs are achieved. - Maintain high standards of personal presentation and hygiene in line with the company code.
