Commercial Manager Crawley & Slough £80,000 - £100,000 + Package We are now looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team based in Crawley& Slough. Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and strategic Commercial Manager to lead commercial operations, drive business performance, and support sustainable growth. This individual will take ownership of revenue generation, contract management, and commercial governance—ensuring profitability, compliance, and client satisfaction. The role calls for a commercially astute leader with strong financial insight, negotiation expertise, and excellent stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company growth objectives., • Analyse market trends, client demands, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities., • Set and monitor financial targets, budgets, and forecasts to deliver profitable results., • Lead on tenders, bids, and contract negotiations to secure new business., • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders., • Manage pricing structures, cost control, and margin performance., • Provide commercial oversight on all projects, ensuring delivery to scope, quality, and budget., • Prepare and present commercial performance reports for senior management., • Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks., • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations., • Work closely with internal teams to align commercial objectives with operational delivery., • Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Skills and Experience • Proven experience in a commercial management role, ideally within the social housing or construction sector., • Strong financial, analytical, and P&L management skills., • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities., • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate insights into practical actions., • Sound understanding of industry standards, contract law, and risk management.
