Reporting to the Operations Manager for the Southern Water Contract you will need to be able to lead a team of multi-skilled Field Managers Supervisors and Field Staff in the delivery of waste-water operational response in a dynamic environment. Salary: 44000 per annum Hours: 45 hours 30 mins lunch 7:30 - 5 (Monday to Friday) Location: Crawley Holidays: 24 days plus bank holidays 25 on call Responsibilities: • Reporting to the Operations Manager youll be in charge of the field managers and administers as well as the fleet compliance employee within the region., • Overseeing payroll submissions rota management with regards to absenteeism, • Monitoring and working with senior managers to oversee HR related issues including investigations performance related issues and absenteeism, • Budget management / Spend, • Ensuring engineers courses and certifications are compliant, • Overseeing equipment supplies, • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed., • Reviewing workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met., • Supporting all functions for teamwork., • Evaluate employee performance, • Capture Toolbox Talks monthly, • Conduct one-to-ones, • Carry out pay rises / PDRs, • Identify skill gaps and provide appropriate training for the team, • Ensure compliance with all health and safety, • Champion key working relationships with our clients, • Ensure all equipment for new starters are in place and monitor, • Signing off any required paperwork to timelines Experience and capabilities: • Supervisory or management experience of 5 years, • Strong interpersonal skills, • Comfortable with Microsoft 365, • Comfortable working in operational roles, • Previous background of working with compliance processes and health and safety regulations What we offer: • 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, • Progression opportunities, • Pension, • Free car parking, • Company Car This position is open to Internal and External candidates.
