Industrial Process Engineer Location: Crawley - Onsite Hours: 37 hours per week As an Industrial Process Engineer (IPE) at Thales, you will play a vital role in supporting our existing product lines and driving continuous improvement on the production floor. You will focus on the later stages of the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) process, ensuring successful transition and ongoing production of products while enhancing manufacturing processes and the work environment. Key Responsibilities: • Support the industrialisation process, particularly from MRL stages 6 to 8., • Influence and collaborate with the Industrial Engineering team to promote best practices and continuous process improvements., • Provide hands-on support to production teams to drive efficiency, quality, and compliance., • Lead and participate in improvement activities using Lean and InCIght methodologies., • Support MRL assessments and Production Readiness Reviews (PRR), and follow up on action items., • Configure and maintain ERP and MES systems to enable smooth manufacturing workflows for both in-house and supply chain items., • Apply PFMEA and risk analysis to identify and mitigate production risks., • Maintain 5S standards and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities on the shop floor., • Manage Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings, measurement instructions, and non-conformance issues., • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards (ISO, IPC, etc.)., • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) through shopfloor systems.
