We are currently looking for a 3.5 ton Driver/ Assisting with Loading based in Birmingham and surrounding area. Working on a Man & Van wait & load collection service, attending Responsibilities: • Driving a 3.5 ton Vehicle. • Collecting waste from commercial sites/ shops/ across Birmingham and the surrounding area in a friendly &professional manner. Examples of jobs: • Assisting with clearing waste/loading (bagged and unbagged) from inside or outside sites. • Undertaking some lightwaste site clearance's on unmanned sites. Skills Required: • Reliability with a friendly customer based focus. • No more then 6 points on license • Must of held a driving license for 1 year minimum ( we will not be able to insure you if it is under 1 year) • Must be able to use own smart phone for use of our Company driver App & have data & minutes • Experience of having driven a 3.5 Ton van or a similar size vehicle. Hours & Pay • Weekly or Monthly pay to your bank account • 28 days paid holiday • 35-hour minimum with 40 hours being the average, (2 out of 4 Saturdays, half days as required on rota) • 7am starts- 5pm (paid over time and extra hours available)
Duties include managing the take away shop, inventory management of non food items, oversee service offered; team management, maintaining co-ordinating with the kitchen team for customer service; deciding on themes and promotions; interacting with the customers and ensuring that an excellent service is offered; negotiating with suppliers; pricing dishes in the menu; tracking payment of bills and invoices; efficiently handling customer queries/complaints; managing staffing requirements; quality control; purchasing and inventory checking; being responsible for health, safety and hygiene standards; making sure that the shop complies with all the legal requirements; preparing reports for the management, etc.
