Purpose of the position: As Remediation Supervisor you will report to the Construction site manager. You will be part of our clients Project team. You will supervise subcontractors and oversee, coordinate, and assure the safe and compliant delivery of soil and groundwater remediation works carried out by them. How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities: • Provide oversight of soil classification, waste management, and soil reuse decisions, • Supervise and monitor the subcontractor’s daily remediation operations, ensuring compliance with RAMS, remediation strategy, and principal contractor standards, • Coordinate remediation works with other site operations to avoid clashes and maintain safe working conditions, • Oversee groundwater management activities including pumping, treatment systems, monitoring and discharge controls, • Ensure all reuse decisions comply with CL:AIRE DoWCoP, the Materials Management Plan, or project specific reuse criteria., • Monitor environmental controls such as dust suppression, odour management, noise mitigation, and surface water protection., • Review and sign off subcontractor daily records, including waste transfer notes, stockpile logs, and site diaries. Electrical Service Engineer Tower Cranes | Major UK Infrastructure Projects | £95,000 to £110,000 OTE We are recruiting on behalf of a leading tower crane manufacturer for experienced electrically biased engineers to work on large scale infrastructure projects across the UK. This role will focus on the installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of tower cranes on high profile sites including Hinkley Point, Sellafield and Sizewell. Engineers must be based within reasonable travelling distance of these locations or be fully prepared to travel and lodge when required. The Role You will be responsible for: • Electrical fault finding on tower cranes, • Commissioning and decommissioning cranes, • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, • Diagnosing and resolving PLC and control system issues, • Supporting breakdown response on live construction sites, • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with site safety procedures This is a technically demanding position working on complex lifting equipment in regulated, safety critical environments.
