SEN Teacher Location: North West London (NW10) Start Date: April 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only A one-form entry primary school in NW10 is seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to lead their ARP (Additional Resource Provision) unit. The Role As the SEN Teacher, you will: • Lead and manage the ARP unit for nursery-level pupils, overseeing learning and development, • Plan and deliver structured, targeted interventions linked to pupils’ EHCP outcomes, • Implement and support communication strategies, including PECS, Makaton, and AAC systems, • Support pupils’ independence, emotional regulation, and engagement, • Line-manage teaching assistants and collaborate with therapists and the wider SEN team, • Maintain a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment, • Track pupil progress and provide regular updates to parents and school leadership About You • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required, • Experience teaching in SEN, nursery, or primary school settings, • Confident in using PECS, Makaton, and other communication strategies, • Strong planning and organisational skills for structured, differentiated learning, • Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, • Patient, compassionate, and resilient with a nurturing approach, • Committed to long-term development and career progression within the school, • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via Uniform Education) What’s on Offer • Supportive leadership and a collaborative, friendly staff team, • SEN-focused CPD and ongoing professional development, • Clear opportunities for career growth and long-term progression within the school, • A highly rewarding role making a meaningful difference in children’s lives every day
