We currently have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE. Your duties will include delivering consumables and samples to the relevant parties in accordance with company methods and adhering to all quality aspects that are required to be carried out in an accredited laboratory. Element Deeside is the largest analytical chemistry laboratory within the Element Group and the market leading UK laboratory undertaking the testing of soils waters wastes oils NAPLs ambient air soil vapours and gases from all over the world. The laboratory undertakes high volume routine analysis as well as offering bespoke method development technical support and hydrocarbon forensic interpretations to enhance the support we can deliver. The laboratory has an international reputation for service excellence and supports clients that require a higher level of technical expertise reliability in data quality and seamless project management from sample collection to timely delivery of data. • Receive incoming shipments of laboratory supplies chemicals and equipment and report any issues to the appropriate Manager, • Inspect deliveries for accuracy damage and quality, • Organise and maintain the warehouse and storage areas in accordance with laboratory requirements, • Respond quickly to prepare orders and distribute materials to laboratory personnel as per requests or predetermined schedules, • Coordinate with laboratory staff to understand their supply needs and ensure timely delivery maintain a well-organised system for tracking and documenting the movement of supplies within the laboratory, • Ensure proper storage of the stock/chemicals in collaboration with technical staff, • Ahere to all laboratory safety guidelines including proper handling storage and disposal of hazardous materials, • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for handling and transporting materials, • Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy, • Ad hoc duties including Disposal Washing Coolboxes Dispatch and Sample Logging in, • Clean Driving licence, • Forklift (counterbalance) Desirable, • A team player, • Organised and motivated, • Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines Element is one of the fastest growing testing inspection and certification businesses in the world.
