Export Administrator- £30,000- Permanent \n We are recruiting for an experienced Export Administrator to join a busy and growing business with a strong international customer base. \n This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and customer-focused administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting export operations, coordinating international shipments, processing orders, and ensuring customers receive an exceptional service from order placement through to delivery. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Process export orders, quotations, and associated sales documentation accurately and efficiently.\n, • Produce and maintain export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping documentation, and certificates of origin where required.\n, • Coordinate domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders, couriers, shipping agents, and customs brokers.\n, • Track shipments and provide customers with regular updates on order progress, lead times, and delivery schedules.\n, • Ensure all export documentation complies with customer requirements, customs regulations, and international trade procedures.\n, • Investigate and resolve delivery issues, shipping discrepancies, and courier claims.\n, • Maintain accurate customer, order, and shipment records within company systems.\n, • Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers, distributors, and trade partners.\n, • Liaise with internal departments to ensure stock availability, order priorities, and customer requirements are communicated effectively.\n, • Work closely with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure orders are dispatched on time.\n, • Manage a varied workload effectively, adapting to changing priorities and business demands.\n, • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.\n\n Skills & Experience \n Essential \n\n • Previous experience in export administration, international sales support, logistics, customer service, or a similar role.\n, • Good understanding of export documentation and international shipping processes.\n, • Excellent organisational and communication skills.\n, • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\n, • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.\n, • Competent user of Microsoft Office and order processing systems.\n\n Desirable \n\n • Experience within a manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, or export-led environment.\n, • Knowledge of Sage 200 or a similar ERP system.\n, • Understanding of Incoterms, customs procedures, and export compliance.\n, • Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international courier providers.\n, • Experience dealing with export documentation, shipping claims, and overseas customer enquiries.\n\n What's on Offer? \n\n • Competitive salary\n, • Company pension scheme\n, • Ongoing training and development\n, • Supportive and collaborative working environment\n, • Genuine opportunities for career progression\n, • Employee discount scheme\n, • Free on-site parking\n\n
