As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within your section of the kitchen. You will maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety, while developing your skills and contributing to the smooth running of service.
Responsibility: Plan, prepare, and execute a variety of dishes using fresh ingredients and professional culinary techniques. Ensure consistency in flavour, portion size, and presentation for all dishes, in line with the restaurant’s standards and customer expectations. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to maintain operational efficiency and support skill development within the team. Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in accordance with UK food safety regulations. Monitor and manage kitchen stock levels, ensuring proper ordering and rotation of ingredients and supplies, and coordinate with suppliers for timely and cost-effective deliveries. Work closely with the management team on menu development, incorporating seasonal produce, innovative techniques, and customer feedback to enhance offerings. Stay current with culinary trends and dietary requirements, adapting recipes and techniques including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-sensitive dishes.
Role Overview: As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing an outstanding guest experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. You will work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service, uphold high standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
