The BIM Technician is responsible for producing coordinated, high-quality Revit models and drawings on data centre projects, working as part of a wider BIM and Engineering team. This role focuses on MEP/M&E modelling, drawing production, and clash coordination in support of the BIM Project Lead and Engineering teams. The BIM Technician plays a hands‑on role in day‑to‑day model production, ensuring deliverables are accurate, compliant, and aligned with project requirements. • Ensure all BIM deliverables meet project programme and milestones., • Monitor modelling progress and report status to the BIM Project Manager., • Develop and maintain coordinated Revit models with other disciplines., • Run clash detection processes and coordinate issue resolution., • Identify clashes and communicate them clearly to Engineering Teams for resolution., • Ensure models are structured, efficient, and aligned with best practice., • Ensure all models comply with internal BIM standards and QA processes., • Implement client‑specific BIM requirements on projects., • Maintain model integrity, naming conventions, and data consistency., • Ensure drawings extracted from models meet company quality standards., • Setup and develop Models in line with Client BEP requirements., • Oversee the production of drawings from Revit models., • Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and ready for issue., • Maintain consistency across all project outputs., • Represent Ethos in BIM coordination meetings., • Collaborate with Engineering Teams to align BIM models with design intent., • Coordinate with external consultants and project stakeholders., • Communicate BIM‑related issues, risks, and progress effectively., • Monitor model performance, file size, and usability., • Ensure models remain clean, efficient, and suitable for project use., • Implement best practices to avoid model degradation over time., • Deliver coordinated, high-quality BIM models and drawings., • Ensure efficient and proactive coordination across disciplines., • Maintain consistency with BIM standards and project requirements., • Support predictable and reliable BIM delivery on projects., • Responsible for BIM coordination and delivery at project level., • Oversees modelling teams and day‑to‑day BIM activities., • Escalates technical or resource issues to the BIM Project Manager when required., • Engineering design decisions or approvals., • Responsibility for system layouts or technical calculations., • Issuing models externally without required approvals., • Changing BIM standards independently., • Commercial or contractual project management responsibilities., • BIM Project Manager (reporting and guidance), • Engineering Project Managers and Design Engineers, • External consultants and coordination teams, • Experience in BIM delivery within MEP or multidisciplinary projects., • Experience working on large-scale or complex projects (e.g. data centres)., • Experience leading or coordinating BIM teams on projects., • Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP (essential)., • Experience in clash detection tools (e.g. Navisworks)., • Understanding of BIM coordination processes and workflows., • Familiarity with common data environments (e.g. ACC/FORMA)., • Knowledge of BIM standards and QA processes., • Understanding of ISO 19650 principles., • Knowledge of industry Revit add‑ins to streamline processes., • Excellent communication and coordination skills., • Models are fully coordinated with minimal clashes at issue stage., • Drawings are accurate, consistent, and compliant., • BIM deliverables meet programme deadlines., • Effective communication between BIM and Engineering teams., • High model quality and adherence to standards., • Work alongside experienced, approachable professionals who combine technical excellence with calm, supportive leadership., • Make a real impact - Contribute to mission‑critical infrastructure projects that support the digital and energy transition across EMEA and beyond., • Grow with us - As a rapidly growing consultancy, we offer opportunities to develop your skills, broaden your experience, and build your career., • Shape a more sustainable future - Sustainability isn't an initiative - it's embedded in every project, every discipline, and every decision we make., • Flexible Fridays and a 9-day fortnight working schedule - enjoy every second Friday off to maintain work‑life balance., • A culture that values flexibility, learning, and teamwork, with clear progression pathways and support toward professional accreditation., • Opportunities to work alongside some of the most experienced engineers in the industry, within a forward‑thinking, technology‑driven consultancy., • Flexible working times, • 20 Days holidays up to 25 days, • Pension Scheme, • Refer a Friend scheme, • Healthcare check‑ups and flu vaccinations, • Gym / Fitness membership Allowance, • Subsidised Health Insurance Allowance, • Working travel out‑of‑pocket expenses, • Travel tax scheme or bike‑to‑work scheme, • Regular training/mentoring / further college support, • Support for Chartership, • A Professional Subscription Fee paid by the company, • Paid Statutory Leaves, • Heavily subsidised social committee #J-18808-Ljbffr
