Role Overview This is a key early hire. You'll work across the full stack with a strong emphasis on backend services and infrastructure, helping us build systems that scale as we grow. You'll work closely with the Director of Engineering to establish patterns, improve reliability, and lay the groundwork for a larger engineering team. You will: • Design and build backend services that ingest, process and serve intelligence at scale, • Own and evolve our AWS infrastructure, ensuring it's secure, cost-effective and production-ready, • Work across the stack when needed, comfortable contributing to frontend, APIs and data layers, • Help define engineering practices, tooling and processes as the team grows, • Be a key voice in technical decisions and architectural direction, • Mentor and support engineers as we expand the team This role suits someone who wants to build things properly, cares about the foundations, and is excited by the opportunity to shape both the platform and the team.
