HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer Kent We are recruiting experiencedHGV Class 2 Drainage Engineerto join a growing drainage team working across commercial, domestic clients.. This is a hands-on, field-based role operating specialist jetting and vacuum equipment, supporting drainage maintenance and repair works across the network. Key Responsibilities • Operate, maintain, and serviceJet Vac (Combi Unit) equipmentin line with manufacturer service manuals, • Drive and operate anHGV Class 2 Combi / Jetting vehiclesafely and efficiently, • Carry outhigh-pressure water jettingand vacuum excavation work, • Clean and maintain drainage systems including:, • Sewers and pipework, • Interceptors, • Work in and aroundconfined spacesin accordance with safety procedures, • Ensure full compliance withRAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)and site safety rules, • Complete all requiredwaste documentation and duty-of-care paperwork, • Communicate effectively with clients, site teams, and line managers, • Work flexibly, includingovertime and working away from home during the weekHealth & Safety Responsibilities, • Strict adherence to RAMS documentation on all sites, • Safe operation of high-pressure water jetting and vacuum systems, • Compliance with environmental waste handling regulations, • Working safely in confined or high-risk environmentsQualifications & Experience Essential: • ValidHGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, • ValidDriver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence), • Proven experience indrainage and jetting operations, • Strong understanding ofsafe systems of work and RAMS compliance, • Full clean UK driving licence, • Right to work in the UKDesirable:, • Streetworks qualification, • High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) certification, • Confined Space training, • First Aid qualification, • Experience inpatch lining / UV drain liningSkills Required, • Ability to operate specialist drainage equipment confidently, • Good communication skills (verbal and written), • Strong awareness of health & safety procedures, • Willingness to carry out physically demanding outdoor work, • Flexibility to work overtime and away from home when requiredPay & Benefits, • £18.00- £21ph depending on experience- enhanced overtime rates, • Regular overtime opportunities available, • Stable, long-term role within a growing team JBRP1_UKTJ
