Key Responsibilities: • Champion the Trust's core values and promote a culture of equality and diversity., • Deliver customer-focused resident services that lead the industry., • Jointly manage administrative staff, focusing on performance management, training, and staff development., • Oversee essential housing management functions, including: • Estate services, • Maintenance services, • Tenancy management, • Voids and lettings management, • Anti-social behaviour management, • Health & safety compliance, • Management services for external landlords Specific Responsibilities: Staff Management • Ensure adequate office coverage, prioritising staff safety., • Supervise frontline staff to ensure balanced workloads and professional service., • Train and develop staff on housing management topics., • Handle grievances and disciplinary matters under the Chief Executive's guidance. Housing Management Policy & Service Delivery • Regularly review and update housing policies to align with best practices., • Engage with stakeholders and residents for policy changes and updates., • Deliver performance against annual targets, managing rent arrears and complaints efficiently. Maintenance Services: • Manage partnerships with contractors and oversee maintenance budgets., • Report performance metrics to the Chief Executive and Board, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Domestic Gas / Heating Engineer Thurrock / Essex (Field-Based Role) £42,000 – £48,000 + Benefits Full-Time | Monday–Friday + Call-Out Rota I’m currently working with a well-established national organisation that delivers heating, energy, and compliance solutions to social housing and public sector clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Domestic Gas / Heating Engineer to join their field-based team covering Thurrock and surrounding Essex / East London areas. The Role This is a mobile position where you’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing domestic heating and hot water systems within residential properties. We're hiring across a range of full-time and evening- based part-time contracts, offering flexibility to suit different working patterns. Working hours We offer a range of contracted hours: * Full- time (37.5 hours): Shifts between 8am-7pm, Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays (8am-4pm) * Part-time (evenings): * 20 hours: 3pm-7pm, Monday to Friday + 1 in 4 Saturdays (8am-4pm) * 5 hours: 3:30pm-7pm, Monday to Friday + 1 in 4 Saturdays (8am-4pm) What you'll be doing As part of the Private Patient Team, you'll be the first point of contact for patients looking to fund their own treatment. You'll provide clear, accurate information on procedures and costs, helping patients understand their options and feel supported every step of the way.
