CASUAL/ PART TIME ROLE. **Grill masters and frying gurus and join our 2024 events team for Nanny Bill’s!! ** Kicking off in May our food truck and gazebo set up will be travelling the UK. - You will need to be more than comfortable in a kitchen environment and used to longer days. Events experience will be a benefit. - High energy, super friendly and fun vibes is what we bring to our events circuit (As well as good music and banging burgers of course!!) - Some of the events are weekends staying away in a camping environment. (your own camping stuff is needed for some, although we may be able to help!) - Travel to locations can be arranged however, if you drive or have a vehicle - that would be advantageous!! - Training will be offered for 2 week period in fixed location in london ahead of festival season starting What we offer: £10-£15 per hour depending on experience and age, plus bonuses. What you will do: Personal care - assist our wonderful clients in getting ready for their day ahead. This position involves working in the great outdoors at music festivals and events such as Hyde Park, Crystal Palace Park, Finsbury Park, Regents Park, Hampton Court Palace, Brentford Stadium among other event sites and parks within Greater London, (hopefully in the sunshine). You will be expected to wear black trousers, a PLAIN navy blue polo T-shirt and sturdy black footwear. You will be supplied with high visibility uniform for safety purposes. Crowd control/people management – foot traffic direction, escorting and ejecting guests – temporally detaining guests prior to police handover, maintaining order, subdue anti-social behaviour, ensuring crowd safety plans are adhered to, apprehending guests/staff suspected of committing a crime. Controlling access points and site perimeter patrolling. Deliver approachable customer service and support. Protection of assets and prevention of losses. About you: Must complete and provide copies of ACT Certificates (ACT Awareness and ACT Security) You will be able to demonstrate you have a clear passion for Keeping People Safe. You will have good understanding of security risks and threats present at events and festivals. Reporting and recording details of irregularities, incidents, searches and patrols. You will be authoritative and confident and have the facility to deal with difficult people in conflict or emergency situations. Your reactions to security risks/issues, guest behaviour and crowd management will be reasonable, proportionate and effective. Guest experience will be important to you and you will be accessible and helpful. You will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to stay vigilant to security risks. Monitor and report any suspicious behaviour/take appropriate action. Egress control. You will work effectively within a team and be an excellent communicator.
