We are seeking a commercially minded Financial Analyst to join our growing finance team within a fast-paced distribution business based in Blackburn to join their commercial finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional to play a key role in financial planning, performance analysis, and decision support across the business. Key Responsibilities as a Financial Analyst: - Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and associated variances Prepare and continually monitor the budgeting process and forecasting position, reforecasting regular when required. Deliver insightful financial analysis on sales performance, margins, costs, and stock Support pricing, promotions, and commercial decision-making to maximise on profits Partner with operational, sales and manufacturing teams to improve financial performance Develop and maintain meaningful financial models and KPIs Assist with year-end processes and audit requirements The successful candidate will have the following attributes: - Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or qualified by experience Previous experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, possibly Power BI knowledge Confident communicator with the ability to explain financial data and provide continuous improvement across the business Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially focused What We Offer Competitive salary of £42,000 £48,000 depending on experience Opportunity to work in a dynamic, growing distribution business Study support if required (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) Healthcare scheme Supportive team environment with scope for development If you are a driven Financial Analyst looking to make a real impact in a commercial business, we would love to hear from you.
