The role: Kendal Nutricare is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects with suppliers and co-manufacturers in the food manufacturing sector. This role will oversee multiple initiatives, including new product development (NPD), retail launches, co-manufacturing agreements, and market introductions, ensuring they are delivered on time, meet specifications, and stay within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in FMCG or regulated industries, such as food, nutrition, or pharmaceuticals What you’ll be doing: • Own and manage all project timelines, Gantt charts, and critical paths across multiple concurrent projects involving suppliers, co-manufacturers, and internal teams., • Act as the main liaison between internal departments (Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain) and external suppliers/co-manufacturers to ensure alignment and timely delivery against milestones., • Identify dependencies, risks, and bottlenecks, and proactively propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track., • Maintain visibility of all active projects, reporting progress and key updates to leadership., • Ensure documentation, task allocation, and project updates are centralised and consistently maintained., • Support post-launch reviews to capture learnings, improve processes, and optimise workflows for future projects., • Build strong relationships with suppliers and co-manufacturers, driving accountability, quality, and compliance. What you will need: Essential Skills & Experience • Experienced Project Manager with a proven track record managing cross-functional projects in FMCG, food manufacturing, nutrition, or pharma., • Strong understanding of supplier management, co-manufacturing, and outsourced production processes., • Skilled in Gantt chart management, critical path analysis, and collaborative project planning tools, • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence and drive results without direct authority over all deliverables., • Qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Scrum Master are highly desirable., • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, scaling organisation, managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines., • Knowledge of food safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance (HACCP, BRC, ISO 22000) is a plus.
