This role will be responsible for overseeing supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and procurement strategy to ensure the organisation secures high-quality goods and services at competitive prices while supporting operational efficiency. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, improving supply networks, and ensuring procurement activities align with company objectives and budget requirements. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services., • Monitor market trends and identify suitable suppliers and products that support business needs., • Evaluate budgetary constraints and operational requirements to determine appropriate quantity, quality, and range of goods and services to be purchased., • Lead supplier sourcing, tendering processes, and contract negotiations to secure favourable terms., • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance., • Identify opportunities to improve supply chains and procurement processes, presenting recommendations to senior management., • Ensure all purchased goods meet company quality standards and specifications, managing returns or corrective actions where required., • Work closely with merchandising and operational teams to support stock planning and sales forecasts., • Maintain procurement records, supplier documentation, and prepare procurement reports for management., • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and procurement best practices. Requirements • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field., • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within retail or a similar industry., • Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiation and contract management., • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills., • Proficiency in procurement systems and the MS Office suite., • Strong analytical and organisational abilities with attention to detail., • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
