Salary: Circa £35,000 DOE + Realistic OTE £50,000+ Location: Worcestershire Start Date: ASAP Position: Permanent, Full Time - Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 Holiday: 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Vacancy Number: 58769 Our client, a well-established and growing international logistics provider, is seeking an ambitious and motivated Sales Executive to join their team based in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional to develop their career within the freight forwarding and logistics sector or for someone from an operational background looking to move into sales. As Freight Forwarding Sales Executive you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing existing client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to securing new business. • Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking and client engagement, • Manage and develop existing customer accounts, • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships, • Source competitive rates across air freight, road freight and sea freight services, • Prepare, present and follow up tailored quotations, • Convert opportunities into new business and trial bookings, • Attend client meetings both on-site and off-site when required, • Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure excellent customer service delivery, • Support internal departments with client communications as required, • Maintain an organised sales pipeline and accurate records, • Proven B2B sales or telesales experience or for someone from an operational background looking to move into sales, • Freight forwarding or logistics experience would be advantageous but is not essential, • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, • Highly motivated with proactive approach to winning new business, • Excellent organisational and time management skills, • Strong attention to detail, • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, • Positive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills, • Team player with a professional approach Working as part of a supportive and collaborative sales team, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on business growth whilst benefiting from excellent earning potential and future career progression opportunities. • Basic salary circa £35,000 depending on experience, • Realistic OTE of £50,000+, • Performance-related bonus scheme, • Contributory pension scheme, • 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, • Modern office environment, • Supportive and collaborative team culture, • Genuine career progression opportunities, • Exposure to international freight and logistics solutions across multiple sectors E: shipping@redrecruit.com T: 01376 503567 | 0203 906 6020 #J-18808-Ljbffr
