Accounts Assistant Key Responsibilities • You will support the Finance team with a wide range of accounts and administrative duties, • Accounts Receivable & Credit Control, • Carrying out credit control, professionally chasing overdue accounts, • Raising customer invoices and allocating incoming payments, • Sending out customer statements, • Accounts Payable & Transaction Processing, • Matching purchase orders to delivery notes, • Matching fuel receipts to invoices, • Processing credit notes, • Bulk processing tasks, • Checking for missing invoices, • Financial Administration, • Managing the accounts mailboxes, ensuring emails are prioritised and actioned promptly, • Setting up bank payments, • Managing petty cash, • Checking drivers’ corporate card statements, • Reviewing Barclaycard – MFW and Barclaycard – Bygone accounts, • £28,860 full time equivalent salary (£11,544 for 2 days a week / £15.00 per hour), • Working Tuesdays and Thursdays, part time hours ideal for work–life balance, • Friendly and supportive finance team, • Varied workload with opportunities to develop, • Potential for hours to increase over time, • Stable, long term role, • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (full-time), • Holiday increases each year by 1 day, up to 25 days (full-time), • Extra days holiday for your birthday (after 1 year)., • Pension., • Employee-Owned Trust (after 1 year)., • Local free car parking (not on-site)., • Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator, or similar finance role, • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal, • Ability to work independently as well as part of a small, supportive team
