SEN Teaching Assistant's Required! Location: Uxbridge area, West London Salary: £110 per day Contract: Permanent Hours: 08:30 – 16:00, term-time About the School This is a friendly and welcoming specialist SEN school supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), SEMH, and learning difficulties. The school focuses on helping students build confidence, independence, and essential skills in a structured and nurturing environment. We’ve partnered with this school for over 5 years, making many successful placements and supporting the school’s growth. Now, we’re looking for the next dedicated member to join their team. About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in their daily learning and development. This is a hands-on role where you will provide practical and emotional support, helping students engage in lessons, activities, and the wider school environment. You’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning space. Key Responsibilities • Support pupils on a one-to-one or small-group basis in line with individual learning plans, • Assist teachers in delivering structured, engaging, and differentiated lessons, • Encourage communication, independence, and positive learning behaviours, • Support pupils with emotional regulation, daily routines, and engagement, • Provide personal care support where required (training provided), • Prepare resources and maintain an organised classroom, • Record observations and provide feedback on pupil progress, • Support pupils during transitions, breaktimes, and school activities, • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff What the School Is Looking For • Patient, reliable, and positive approach, • Confident engaging with both pupils and staff, • Calm, adaptable, and proactive throughout the school day, • Genuine interest in SEN and helping pupils succeed, • Open to ongoing training and professional development, • Must hold an up-to-date DBS What’s on Offer • £110 per day, • Permanent term-time role, full-time hours, • Supportive leadership team and welcoming staff environment, • Ongoing training and development opportunities, • A rewarding position where you can make a real difference every day If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference and be part of a supportive, friendly school community, we’d love to hear from you
