About the Role As a Senior Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing our quality standards across the business. Acting as a Deputy to the Quality Manager, you’ll oversee key elements of the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance, consistency, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing and packaging operations. Key Responsibilities • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards., • Approve and release finished products for distribution., • Perform weekly GMP and Hygiene audits across production areas., • Review and approve manufacturing documents., • Support the Head of Technical, Quality & Regulatory in managing the Quality Management System (QMS)., • Act as audit lead during customer and certification audits., • Undertake any additional duties necessary to maintain quality and compliance. About You We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with the right personal attributes to thrive in a collaborative environment. You will have: • Experience in a Quality role within a factory environment (food, cosmetics, or pharmaceuticals preferred)., • A degree in a science-based discipline., • Formal Internal Auditor and HACCP Level 2 training., • Experience with certification audits or major retailer (Big 4) audits is highly desirable. You’ll also bring: • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills., • The ability to stay calm under pressure and manage competing priorities., • Strong communication and influencing skills., • A proactive, team-focused attitude with a drive for continuous improvement., • Agility and adaptability within a fast-paced environment. What does the Disability Assessor role involve? The Disability Assessor role will involve you carrying out 3 to 4 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. Youll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.
