Our client, a thriving student accommodation provider, is searching for a proactive and reliable Temporary Handyman to support their on-site team with day-to-day repairs and general maintenance. What you’ll be doing: • Carrying out a range of reactive maintenance tasks to a high standard, including basic plumbing, joinery, carpentry, and occasional painting/decorating., • Moving furniture and handling heavier items across the site as needed., • Maintaining lighting, completing statutory checks, and ensuring safe, functional spaces., • Responding effectively to health & safety issues., • Keeping maintenance reports updated using electronic systems., • Monitoring stock levels and notifying management when materials, tools, or equipment need replenishing.What we’re looking for:, • Hands-on experience within residential repairs/maintenance or a background in trades such as plumbing, electrical work, or carpentry., • Handyman/Caretaker/Maintenance/Trade experience, • Someone equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team., • A strong awareness of health & safety standards., • A positive, can-do attitude with good initiative., • Friendly, helpful, and professional at all times.
