Location: Nottingham
Salary: £28-32k + sleep-in allowance
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: Rotational shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

We’re looking for a dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at Calordomus Care, - a nurturing, trauma-informed children’s home providing care, stability, and a sense of belonging for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. What you'll do:
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in both the day-to-day care of our young people and the leadership of the staff team.
You will:
Be a consistent, caring adult and positive role model
Lead shifts, guide team members, and ensure high standards of care
Support young people with routines, relationships, and personal development
Respond to challenging behaviour with professionalism, empathy, and structure
Contribute to care planning, risk management, and safeguarding
Assist with staff training, mentoring, and development
Communicate effectively with families, social workers, and professionals What we offer:

At least 1–2 years’ experience in a residential children’s home or similar setting
A Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards it)
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support others
Emotional resilience, consistency, and a child-focused mindset
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
