Air Conditioning Engineer\n\nFull-Time | Permanent\n\nOverview\n\nWe are working with a well-established mechanical services provider delivering high-quality solutions across commercial environments. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their service and maintenance team.\n\nThis is a mobile role involving a mix of planned and reactive works across a varied portfolio of sites.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of air conditioning systems\n\n * Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs efficiently\n\n * Service and maintain systems including split units, VRV/VRF systems, chillers, AHUs and associated plant\n\n * Complete installation and commissioning works where required\n\n * Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations and industry standards\n\n * Accurately complete job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation\n\n * Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts, providing technical advice where needed\n\n * Identify system improvements and report any additional works\n\n(HVAC engineers typically install, service and repair systems controlling temperature and airflow across commercial buildings )\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience working as an Air Conditioning / HVAC Engineer\n\n * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills\n\n * Experience working on commercial HVAC systems (VRV/VRF, splits, chillers, AHUs etc.)\n\n * F-Gas certification (essential)\n\n * Relevant NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration (desirable)\n\n * Full UK driving licence\n\n * Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team\n\nWorking Hours & Call-Out\n\n * Monday to Friday, full-time role\n\n * 1 in 5 call-out rota (with additional earnings available)\n\nThe Opportunity\n\n * Join a growing business with a strong pipeline of commercial work\n\n * Work across a diverse range of sites and systems\n\n * Long-term career development within a supportive engineering team
